HARVEST FESTIVAL
Between late August and early September, Requena celebrates in honor of its Patron Saint the Virgen de los Dolores, its fair and harvest festival. With the party of the vintage, declared of interest tourist in 1966 and considered as the more ancient and an of them more important of Spain, is shows the joy collective that is feels to the contemplate the depressed of them first clusters of grape of our land. This party is inclusive, generous, different, popular and sober, of tradition and roots.

Ferevin
The fair Requena of the wine (FEREVIN) is an of them samples monographic about wines more important of the community Valencian. FEREVIN, who was born in 1991 in order to promote and encourage the wines of the region, has established itself as a firm reference pra the wine sector, becoming the best showcase for the wines and wineries of the Utiel-Requena denomination of origin

Muestra del Embutido Artesano y de Calidad
Based in our gastronomy and especially in inlay, the second week of February is celebrated craftsman inlay and sign of quality, organized by M.I. city of Requena and with the collaboration of the governing body of the I.G.P. "Requena inlay".
This shows allows to the visitor, through the acquisition of a ticket, taste our sausages and dishes typical as are: the sausage, the chorizo, the guena, the sobrasada, the sausage, the dog, the sausage, the garlic arriero and the morteruelo. The inlay of Requena is the reflection of the tradition and the history with a village. Its elaboration, of form craft, allows care each detail to maintain its good quality.
The shows of inlay marks the gastronomic calendar of the Valencian Community and also offers the possibility of knowing and enjoying our city.
Carnival
The murgas, the comparsas or them parades have increased the fame of them carnivals of Requena. It act that difference to the carnivals of the municipality of the rest of locations is the fun proclamation of the King of strains, a solemn ceremony that is lives with great intensity. "The Masquerade" and the "Letrilla competition" are followed by large audience that can appreciate the wit and grace them. The end of Carnival is celebrated with the children's parade, the "Judas hung" and the "Entierro de la Sardina" previous question and condolences to the King of strains.
HOLY WEEK
The Holy week of Requena stands out for its simplicity and austere character. From Friday until the resurrection, which takes place on Holy Saturday, different events and processions are held.
During Holy week, in the Church of Santa María, celebrated the week of sacred music with a variety of concerts and musical performances.
The festive calendar includes a set of worthy of get to know and enjoy the festive traditions. In winter the fire of the bonfires, parades with cakes of "Pan Bendito" and the traditional "Paris" are the main protagonists of the celebrations in honor of San Sebastian, San Antón, San Blas, the Virgen de la Caridad and San Nicolas.
We can also highlight the recovered songs of the "Mayos" and the "Junior".
Throughout the year, in each of the villages held festivals in honor to their respective employers.
